History
- August 18, 2005, GGClient (version 0.Cool was released by a student at
the Nanyang Technological University in Singapore for the closed beta
test. The software was originally released for the professional players
of Warcraft III DotA with the intent to help shorten the waiting time
between players. Open beta testing began April 1, 2006. Garena was
founded by Li in Forrest in March 2007 in order to improve the
experience of online gaming.

Features:

Gaming Ladder - With the participation and completion of the online
game, players can gain experience and level. top-level players get a
higher level rooms, which offer the greatest challenges.

Social Connection - Players can interact with each other using the
integrated instant messaging system and use the lobby chat room.

Clan - Players can create clans exclusive and in competition with other
clans. It costs shells (the ingame currency that can be purchased via
RMT).

Personal ban list - Users can prevent cheats into their games by adding the user ID in a block list

Autoban - Garena hackers gameplay and abnormal automatic ban, but he was
called to ban innocent players as well and sometimes does not detect
the hacks.

GGTV - GGTV is a streaming video player other online players in tournaments, as well as loading previous saves.
